{Santa Gum Holder}

**This year's '12 Days of Christmas' features items my daughters and I made for our very first craft fair**

Day 4: {Santa Gum Holder}

This is such a great stocking stuffer idea!!  And they were pretty popular at the craft fair too!  We priced these at $2.00 each, or 3 for $5.00, and sold all but 5.

HERE is the tutorial for these cuties!

{Nugget Trays}

**This year's '12 Days of Christmas' features the items that my girls and I made for our very first craft fair**

Day 3: {Nugget Trays}

These have been on my 'To Do' list for ages, and I was glad to finally have the chance to make them!

The tutorial I used can be found HERE**The only change I made was cutting my cardstock at 1 7/8" x 5 so I could fit 5 nuggets in it**

**Edited**
The link is now fixed!  Also, I was asked to share how each item did at the craft fair.  We priced the Nugget Trays at $3.00 each, or 2 for $5.00, and sold 11 out of the 23 that we made.

{Snowman Popcorn}

**This year's '12 Days of Christmas' features the items that my daughters and I made for our very first craft fair**

Day 2: {Snowman Popcorn}

These cute little treats quickly SOLD OUT!  People kept coming to our booth asking for them after they were gone.  I {wish} that I would have made more!

The free snowman printable can be found HERE.  You can hand color them, or take the easy way out like I did and color them on your computer before you print them!

For the hat, I just cut a piece of felt, folded a little bit up for the brim of the hat, and hot glued it into place.  Then I cut slits in the felt, and tied a ribbon around it.

These would make perfect neighbor/friend/teacher gifts!

{For Your Mistle Toes}

As I mentioned on Friday, my daughters and I participated in our very first craft fair a few weeks ago.  Instead of doing my annual '12 Days of Christmas' this year, I decided to just share the items we made for the craft fair.

Day 1:  {For Your Mistle Toes} Nail Polish Gift Idea

This gift is perfect for the girls on your list!

The original idea came from HERE, but I used THIS IDEA for my packaging.

These did pretty well at the craft fair.  I made a total of 12 of them, and sold all but 4.  Not bad, and the extras are going to be used as Christmas gifts for some of my girls' friends.

Since tomorrow is my 'Sew Cute Tuesday' linky party, I'll be sharing my next craft on Wednesday.  See you then!!

Our Very First Craft Fair!

My daughters and I participated in our very first craft fair last weekend, and we had a blast!  It was a lot of work, but the time spent with them made it all worth it!

We went in the night before the craft fair and set up our table so we wouldn't be in a rush the next day (that's why all the other tables are empty!!).  Here's what it looked like when we were done.

Starting Monday, I'll be sharing what we made for the craft fair in lieu of my annual '12 Days of Christmas'.

Until then, have a great weekend!

From the Desk of...{Teacher Gift}

My kids started school last week, and I wanted to make their teachers something special to start the year off right.  One of my favorite things to give as a gift lately is a 'From the Desk of...' gift set (template available for purchase HERE).  They're so versatile, and you can really customize them however you want.

Here's what I ended up making for their teachers...

Included in the set were these cute printable 'Just a little note' cards (click HERE for free printable), & envelopes.

...a Post It Note holder (tutorial found HERE)...

...and a covered notepad (tutorial found HERE) ...

A bar of chocolate was also included, but didn't get a picture of that.

I made a total of 3 sets, and the kids' teachers loved them!

If you'd like to see other 'From the Desk of' gift sets I've made, click HERE, and HERE.

A Candy Bouquet in Honor of our Grandpa

My sweet Grandpa passed away on May 30th.  We knew he likely wouldn't survive his stroke, but I don't think you can ever be prepared to lose someone you love.

He {always} had candy in his suit pockets at church, and a cupboard full of gum at home.  My kids loved going to his house because they knew he'd let them have a piece {or two} of gum.  So in honor of our Grandpa, my sisters and I decided to make a special bouquet for his funeral.
The candy and gum that we used were Grandpa's favorites.  It turned out better than we hoped, and we know he would've loved it!

We miss our Grandpa every single minute of every single day.  Although our hearts were {and still are} broken, we find comfort in our belief that we will see him again someday.

Until then, every time I chew a piece of Grandpa's favorite gums or eat one of his favorite candies,  I'll be thinking of him.  He may be gone, but he'll never be forgotten.

My Spin on the Pin {5.11.12}

As I was trying to decide what to get my kids' teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week, I remembered THIS PIN.

Here's My Spin on the Pin...

I was short on time, and these were the perfect gift to make.  They come together really quickly, and turn out so dang cute!

I also made some for the girls' soccer coaches.  Love how they turned out!

Happy Pinning!

Baby Shower Gift #2

Today I'm finally able to share another baby shower gift with you.  This set went to my friend who is expecting her baby girl later this month.

I appliqued a polka dot flower on the onesie, and added a red center to match the shoes.

Oh, these shoes...I am in LOVE with them!  I think this color combo is my favorite so far.  Love the black/white/red together! (pattern here)

And, of course, the hair bows.  (tutorial here)

If you didn't see the first set I shared, you can find it HERE!
