Chicken Crescents

This is another recipe that my Mom made all the time while I was growing up. Even after all these years, it's still one of my favorites!

To make it you'll need:

2.5 c. cubed or shredded chicken breasts (you can also used canned chicken)
1 c. shredded cheese
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 c. milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place approx. 2 T. of chicken and cheese in crescent roll. Roll up and pinch sides closed. Put in 9x13 pan. Heat together soup, milk, and 1/2 c. cheese. Pour about 2/3 of this over the rolls. Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the rest of cheese over the rolls and bake for 5 minutes more. Top with extra sauce.

I've Got Nothin'

I've got 3 projects in the works that I need to finish....AND I've decided to bite the bullet and get some scrapbooking done too! I'm atleast 5 years behind, but I've figured out a way to get my kids' scrapbooks caught up that isn't too overwhelming for me. I'm actually really excited about it! I'll share what I'm doing and maybe even show off some pages when I get them done!

In the meantime....look what I got in the mail over the weekend!! My sister-in-law has been collecting juice pouches for me and sent me 72 of them!! And she has more that she's going to be sending my way soon.....Yay!! I can't wait to get some juice pouch purses/bags made out of these beauties!

Ike & Ella

Amanda contacted me asking if I could help spread the word about her new online kid's store. This week is her "Grand Opening" and she's celebrating with some fun giveaways! Here's some of what she wrote....

Hello! My name is Amanda and I have to say I love your blog! Check it every morning!

I was wondering if you would be able to help me out. I started an online handmade kid's store. This is our first open week! 15% of all proceeds go to Autism Speaks in my son Joshua's name, so it's a great cause! And we are having some giveaways. I want to sign over a big check at the end of the week (the 14th - which also happens to be my brithday so what better way to celebrate!?)

We are giving away: A little Miss Jr. Purse, a crayon wallet, felt chocolate bunny and reusable grocery bag. Plus everyone who joins our mailing list gets $5 off.

4 prizes 3 ways to enter:

Just tell me your favorite thing from our store and do at least one of the following (or all 3 for 3 chances to win!)

1. follow our blog - http://ikeandella.blogspot.com

2. join our mailing list www.shopikeandella.com

3.Blog/Post about our grand opening, donations and prizes and leave me the link on the comments on the blog.

Thanks in advance!

Amanda
