Sew Cute Tuesday {1.17.12}

Welcome to 'Sew Cute Tuesday'!  Believe it or not, I've actually been working on some sewing projects myself...yay!!  I've really missed it, and am hoping to sew atleast one project a month.  That's the goal anyways!  And with all the ideas you guys share, I'm sure the only hard part will be choosing what I'm going to make!

Sew Cute Tuesday {1.10.12}

So last week I asked for some input from you guys about the future of 'Sew Cute Tuesday'.  I was thinking about maybe opening it up to all types of crafts rather than just sewing projects.  Well, thanks to all of you who took the time to comment, I have made up my mind.  'Sew Cute Tuesday' will remain a SEWING PROJECTS ONLY linky party!  When it comes down to it, the whole reason why I started it in the first place was to get inspiration for sewing projects.  There are plenty of other 'anything goes' linky parties around, so let's just stick to sewing projects around here!!

Here's a few projects that caught my eye from last week:

My Spin On The Pin

Pinterest is my newest addiction...I spend way too much time searching for and pinning projects.  To justify the time that I spend there, I decided to actually MAKE some of the stuff that I've pinned.

I'm happy to introduce what I'm calling 'My Spin on the Pin'.  Every Friday, I'll be posting projects that I've pinned, then tried.  Let's get started, shall we? 

For my first project, I decided to go with food.  Cookies to be exact.

These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies were calling my name.

And they were oh, so good!  If you're a fan of peanut butter and chocolate together, you will LOVE these cookies!!

Sew Cute Tuesday {1.03.12}

**Sorry!!  I had this all set to post at midnight, and for some reason, it didn't.  I'll be keeping the linky open for one extra day to make up for it!**

Happy 2012!!  I've been thinking for a few weeks about making some changes to my weekly 'Sew Cute Tuesday' linky party, but wanted to get some input first.  How would you feel about me opening up the linky party to include all types of crafts?  It seems that each week, more and more non-sewing projects are linked up, and it's hard for me to find the time to delete them all.  I've even considered having 2 separate places to link up...one for sewing projects only, and the other one for everything else.  Please give me your honest opinion so I can decide which direction to go.  If you like 'Sew Cute Tuesday' just how it is, please say so.  If you'd like to see a change, leave a comment telling me what changes you'd like to see.  Thanks!
