My Card Ideas Board on Pinterest is full of cards that inspire me.  I don't know if I'll ever get around to putting my spin on all of them, but I'll sure try!

Congratulations {baby card}

Just wanted to pop in real quick and share a card.  I made this one for a family in my area that recently welcomed a new baby boy into their family. 

I usually put my own spin on cards that I find online, but not this time.  After looking at what supplies I had on hand, I sketched out what I wanted the card to look like then got to work. 

I've also made a 'girl version' that I'll share with you soon. 

In other news, we're in the full swing of volleyball and soccer around here.  One of my daughters is in a volleyball league, and all 4 of my girls are playing soccer.  BUSY!  Want to know the best part?  I actually volunteered to coach one of my girls' soccer teams...even though I know NOTHING about soccer!  We've already had our first game, and will be playing our second one tonight.  I feel a little overwhelmed with what I DON'T know, but hopefully the girls will have a fun season no matter what.  Wish me luck, and send happy thoughts my way!  Oh, and if any of you have coached a girl's soccer team before, any tips you could give me would be AWESOME!!  I need all the help I can get!!

Baby Shower Gift #2

Today I'm finally able to share another baby shower gift with you.  This set went to my friend who is expecting her baby girl later this month.

I appliqued a polka dot flower on the onesie, and added a red center to match the shoes.

Oh, these shoes...I am in LOVE with them!  I think this color combo is my favorite so far.  Love the black/white/red together! (pattern here)
