'Pot of Gold' Craft

My 2 youngest kids are part of a 4-H Clover Buds group that meets once a month to do a craft.  February was my month to be in charge, and since Valentine's Day was already over, I decided to go with a St. Patrick's Day themed project.

The idea for this came from HERE.  The kids had fun making their 'Pot of Gold', and were most excited about the chocolate coins!

'Happy Hellos' Card

I have a box full of scraps of paper that I can't bear to throw away.  When I sit down to make a card, I'll usually look through my scraps first to see if anything catches my eye.  Sometimes I'll find a combination that works, and sometimes I don't.  This time, it worked!  I think you'll recognize these papers from THIS CARD that I shared last week.

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

'Happy Birthday' Masculine Card

Making 'masculine' cards is such a challenge for me.  I tend to make them 'girly', even when I don't try!  I decided to try making one that was simple, and am pretty happy with the result.

My goal in making this card was to stick to 2-3 colors, and to not embellish it a whole lot.  How did I do?  Does it look 'masculine' enough to give to a guy?

I think I'll keep working on it!

Grandma's Brag Book

So, I'm a terrible daughter-in-law, and didn't get anything sent to my in-laws for Christmas.  BUT, I hopefully redeemed myself by sending out a few gifts to them for Valentine's Day {keeping fingers crossed!}.

Part of that gift was this Brag Book for my Mother-in-law.

I filled it with pictures of my kids, and of our little family.  My Mother-in-law loved it!

If you'd like to make one of your own, the tutorial for the Brag Book can be found HERE.

'Hello' Card

After making my last card (shown HERE), there were some scraps of my prized Pebbles Inc. paper that I didn't want to go to waste.  So I made another card...

 Detail shot (:

The polka dot paper is from Echo Park's Dots & Stripes Soda Fountain Collection, and went perfectly with the Pebbles Inc. paper.

Another fun card that was quick to make.  Love it when that happens!!
