End of the Year Teacher Gift

It's hard to believe that the school year is nearly over!
My kids have had GREAT teachers this year, and we wanted
to give them each a little something to say thank you for being so wonderful.

We ended up going with THIS IDEA from Kiki & Company
via I Heart Naptime.  Adorable, right?!

Our Summer Break officially begins on Friday!!  Can't wait!

'G' is for Grandma Book

My kids adore their Grandma's, and wanted to make them each something for Mother's Day.
As I searched around online, I came across THIS IDEA, and thought it would be perfect.

Here's our version:

Instead of having them each make a card, I stapled 2 paper sacks together to make a little booklet.

Some of the answers my kids gave about their Grandma's were GREAT!
My Mom especially loved that one of them thought she was only 30 years old!

It would be fun to make one every year to see how the kids' answers about their Grandma's change!

Mother's Day Card 2013

I've been wanting to make some changes around here for quite some time, but have been too afraid to actually DO it!  Well, I got brave over the weekend and gave my blog a little face lift.  What do you think?
I'm not through with it just yet, so you may notice a few more changes over the next little while.

Now that Mother's Day is over (by the way...hope all you Mother's had a GREAT day!),
I can finally show you the card I made for my Mom and MIL.

I was inspired by THIS CARD by Amy O'Neill.

I've never thought of making my own flowers by using different circle punches.
So glad Amy shared this...I'll be doing it a lot more!

Later this week I'll share a gift that my kids and I made for their Grandma's for Mother's Day.
See you soon!

Paper: Pebbles Inc. 'Sister' from Family Ties Collection
Sentiment: made on my computer
Punches: 1-3/4", 1-1/4", and 1" circle punches

'Hi' Card

This card was made several weeks ago, but I'm just now getting around to sharing it.
I decided to use some colors that I don't usually put together, and liked how it turned out!

Here's a close up shot :)

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

'Prophets' YW Handout

Yesterday I gave the YW lesson "Why is it important to listen to and follow the living prophets."  I created this handout (I think this is my all time favorite picture of President Monson!), and thought I would share.

If you would like a copy of this handout without the watermark, you can access the file HERE.

Have a great Monday!
