Today I'm back, sharing more items
from MiMi's Boutique Holiday Open House :)
(If you missed my last post,
my sister-in-law and I held an open house last month
to sell some items we've made for some extra Christmas cash)
We try to use only reclaimed items,
meaning...we find things at thrift stores
or yard sales and repurpose them.
We also used pallets, and some old wood from our
father-in-law's throw away pile.
Here's a few more pictures of our cute stuff :)
Aren't these chalkboards darling?
My niece did the chalk art on them.
So dang cute!
We rescued some old cupboards from a thrift store,
painted them, and added knobs
that we also found at a thrift store.
This chicken wire reclaimed wood frame was one of my favorites!
The wreath in the middle just ups the cuteness factor!
The wreaths were made using THIS method.
We made a few of these reclaimed wood JOY signs
and added a wreath in the middle for the 'O'.
Decorative shutters are all over the place right now,
so we had to try our hand at them too!
We made these using pallet wood,
and hung some cute snowflakes
on them that were found at a thrift store.
This is another type of shutter we made.
We added a cute wreath in the middle of this one.
If you've ever gone into a thrift store,
you've noticed there's always LOTS of frames!
We rescued a few and repurposed them
into these cute button tree frames.
Aren't they adorable?
(sorry about the quality of the pictures...they don't really do these justice!).
We really had a blast making everything!
Our open house went so well,
we've decided to make it a yearly tradition :)
Be sure to check back!
I've got a few more items to share :)
