I used THIS tutorial from Naptime Journal as a guide. It was really simple to make, but I did make a few mistakes. The things I'll do differently next time are:
**add 2" to the measurement of the width of my machine (I only added 1" this time, and my cover isn't as wide as I wanted it)
**measure better before I sew the velcro on the ribbon on the side! (the tutorial I used didn't use velcro, but I thought it would work better for my needs).
Other than that, I'm happy with how it turned out. And my little boy is thrilled to have his blanket back!

hey misty, the cover is gorgeous! Guess you always need one before you know exactly how you're gonna do it for real! ;o)
Lush colour too hon.

Very cute! I have this on my to do list. I love the fabric you used!
Oooo, I love it! I think my sewing machine needs something cute like this instead of the ugly plastic cover.
Very cute and it keeps from getting dust down in it.

Love it! I've needed one for a while now, and this will totally work for me. Especially since I have some fabric lying around waiting for me to use it.
