Homemade Twix Bars

I've had THIS recipe from Tastebuds in my folder for a while and finally got around to making them. Twice. The first time I made them as directed, but the crust was a bit too thick for me. I made them again a few days later, but this time I doubled the recipe and used a 9x13 cake pan. Perfect!! I'll definitely be making these again!

Wow, thanks for sharing these. My mouth is watering at the thought, I may have to make dessert instead of doing any morning housework!

Mmmmmm....I'm sad that our house is trying to cut down on the amount of sugar we eat. It wouldn't be fair for me to make them when my hubby is on a diet either....

I'll be filing this away for a special occassion when I can make them though. Thanks!

Just made these- and had to taste them before family night to {ehem} make sure they turned out. Delicious!! The caramel and chocolate are divine, but my cookie crust came out just a little dry and flaky. Next time (there WILL be a next time) I think I'll start with less flour or a little more butter. Thanks a bunch!
