My Gathered Clutch Adventure...

Have you seen Noodlehead's awesome Gathered Clutch Tutorial?! I just had to make me some!

But if I'm going to be completely honest, it took me a total of 3 tries to get it right. Yep, THREE!! The first one I made was the red & white polka dot one pictured above. What did I do wrong? I wasn't paying attention while sewing it together and used the wrong piece for the lining....making it quite a bit shorter than the outside of the clutch. But it's still functional!

On my second try, I didn't sew it up very well, and once it was turned right side out, it didn't look very pretty.  And after my kids played with it for a while, the zipper became stuck......now we can't get it open.

The third time was a charm!!  My green polka dot one turned out perfect.  Except for the crooked black piece (just pretend that you don't notice!).  I was happy to finally have one turn out like it was supposed to!!  Yay!!
