My First Sewing Project of 2011...

My 3 oldest girls each got a camera for Christmas.  Santa didn't even think about bringing camera bags with them, so it was up to Mom to get some made.  It took me a few weeks to finally sit down and make them, and my girls were *thrilled* when they came home from school and I had these camera cozies ready to go.

They each got polka dot lining....so cute!!

I used THIS PATTERN from Sew, Mama, Sew!  It was really easy to follow, and I was able to whip these babies up in no time!

I bet this size would work great for all the Nintendo DS's + parts floating around my house after Christmas as well! Thanks for sharing the pattern link!

Love them, so cute! My poor camera is in an ugly black camera bag I bought at Wal-Mart... think it is time to spruce it up. Thanks for posting the pattern.

Love them! Maybe I should make a camera cozy for mine instead of using my boring black one :)

I'm new to sewing... but I love it.
I'm opened a giveaway on my blog paperpixiecrafts.blogspot.com today for a burlap covered notebook that I made. Check it out. The giveaway ends sunday. (=

What cute camera bags. I bet they are happy now you didn't purchase bags when you bought the cameras. These are way better than the store bought.
