I'm a little OBSESSED with these...

Yes...I'm admitting it.  These cuties have become my latest obsession!  My 2 older girls were horrified when I saw some cans lying by the side of the road and stopped to pick them up.  I guess it won't be the last time they are embarrassed by their mother!

Here's a few samples of the latest earrings I've been making.

Have a great Thursday!!

I'd love to see how you make them. They are super cute and what a great way to reuse cans! I bet you look at the designs on cans differently ;)

I love your can repurposing!! These earrings are so pretty!

I'm wondering what you did for the edges, too, though.

I would have thought they would be proud that their Mom was a recycler, and someone who cared enough about the environment to clean up someone else's mess! I applaud your courage! Do they forgive you now that you've made some really "Kicking" earrings? I know my granddaughters would love some of those earrings. I'll have to learn how.

Yolanda & Tammy...I file around the edges with a nail file (or sandpaper works too) to dull the edges. I promise, they're not sharp!!

very cute. I wanta make some. I wonder if It's safe to run the metal though my cricut machine? I'm sure it would be bad for the blade. I have some tiny eyelets that I could use, but I'd like to find some about the size you are using. We don't drink can soda at our house so I'll have to see if I can get the hubby to bring some home from his work.
I'm defiantly putting this project on my to-do list. When It happens... I'll share my photos with you.

Those are way cute! Your poor daughters - they'll get over the embarrassment eventually and realize that they have a cool mom. :-)

IF it wasn't for my mom emarrasing me when I was younger, I wouldn't have a sence of humor, now!

Those earrings are adorable, I would love to see a tutorial on how you made them.. or atleast how you keep the tin from cutting you!
