Christmas Gift Idea: CD Holder

Last year some of our friends gave us a CD filled with their favorite Christmas music, and it was in an adorable handmade CD holder. It was one of my most favorite gifts! I loved it so much that I decided to copy that idea for friends and family this year. So if you get this gift from us this Christmas, act surprised!!

Here's how I made the CD holder:
Cut paper to 5" x 11" and 2 7/8" x 11"

Score both pieces at 3" and 8".

Fold at the score lines like this.

Fold the smaller paper around the bigger one. Glue or put adhesive on one side and fold closed.

Put glue or adhesive on the edges (where the two arrows are) of the bigger piece and fold up.

All done! Now it's ready to decorate however you want!

Here's the finished product...

And a view of the back...

I added a velcro dot to keep it closed....so cute! These come together really fast! It's going to be hard to wait until Christmas to give them out!

I hope to share more of my 'handmade' gift ideas in the coming weeks. I don't want to spoil the surprise for those who will be getting them.....I guess I just won't say who's getting what!

Your stuff is so dang cute and creative!!!
I was wondering if you would like to do a giveaway on my blog the first week of December? I am doing a big giveaway of stuff that makes the world cuter (the name of my blog). I remember you doing a giveaway on The Dress Up Drawer, and I would love it if you would want to give one of your cute items away on my blog! http://chad-tiff.blogspot.com. If you want to be a part of it, I would have a link up to your shop up until and during the giveaway for everyone to look at.
Let me know-I LOVE your stuff! :)
