Sew Cute Tuesday {4.19.11}

Happy Tuesday!!  I'm still looking for more ideas for our 'summer sewing camp'.  If you've made something that would be easy for my girls (ages 11, 10, 8, & 4) to sew themselves, please share!

Here's a few projects that caught my eye from last week's linky party:

Suze from Time Well Spent shared the most adorable Pettiskirt!!

Emily from Em-agination shared her cute Pillow Animals!

And I loved Misty's Easter Basket Tutorial at Makin' it imMACKulate!

Feel free to grab a 'Featured' button....you can find a *new* one in my menu bar!!

Now let's get this linky party started!!

Hello, I have in my link this week a second project with some quick directions to make fabric bookmarks. If you are still looking for sewing projects for your summertime, these use scraps of fabric, fleece/interfacing and ribbon, rick rack, or other trims. Super easy and lots of opportunity to be creative.

How about sewing felt food? My girls are 7 & 9 and we've done mainly hand sewing of felt food but I'm hoping to move to machine sewing some more this summer. Since they play kitchen, resturant, etc with friends and with their AG dolls, they are playing with what they make too
